The clerk of the court of common pleas in each county shall act as the clerk for the court of appeals in that county, performing the duties of the clerk, collecting the fees for, and maintaining the files and records of each case filed in the court of appeals. R.C. 2501.16
The Twelfth District Court of Appeals is a multi-county district, serving eight counties in southwestern Ohio. The respective Clerks of the Courts of Common Pleas of the counties in the Twelfth Appellate District also serve as the clerk of Twelfth District Court of Appeals for their respective counties. All documents required to be filed in this Court shall be filed with the Clerk of the Court of Appeals of the county in which the action appealed from took place.
